Church Alley is a public footpath in Broad Green, Croydon. It runs from Handcroft Road to Mitcham Road, between Bishops Road and Addington Road on one side and Dennett Road on the other.
Friends of Church Alley is a charitable organisation set up in 2011.
Its objects are:
~ To promote the protection, conservation and improvement of Church Alley and the area surrounding it for the benefit of the public
~ To advance the education of the public a) in the conservation, protection and improvement of the physical and natural environment both generally and particularly as relevant to Church Alley and the area surrounding it and b) in the history of Church Alley and the area surrounding it.
Membership is open to anyone who lives or works in the area, or who is interested in Church Alley or in supporting it – £2 annually.
Friends of Church Alley is a member of BTCV, the Association of Croydon Conservation Societies (ACCS) and of the Croydon Natural History and Scientific Society (CNHSS).
